Manufacturing Process
1. Hot rolling (extruded seamless steel pipe): round tube billet → heating → perforation → three-roll skew rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → Stripping → sizing (or reducing) → cooling → straightening → hydraulic test (or detection) → marking → storage
2. Cold-drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round tube blank → heating → perforation → heading → annealing → pickling → oiling (copper plating) → multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → billet → Heat treatment → straightening → hydraulic test (inspection) → marking → storage

ASME SA335/ASTM A335 P5 is a seamless iron-based austenitic alloy steel pipe for high-temperature service, mainly used for the manufacture of high-temperature boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers, and fittings for petroleum and chemical industries; A335 P5 is equivalent to domestic 12Cr5Mo or 1Cr5Mo (old designation).
P5 High-Temperature Alloy Steel Pipe Complies with the Following Standards: ASTM A335, Similar to Chinese National Standards GB/T 9948 and GB/T 5310, and American Standard ASTM A213.
