[Coatings on iron castings]
The local coating thickness on iron castings shall be not less than 70 µm.
Due to the different surface chemistry of cast iron, the appearance of the coating can be different from that on steel articles (e.g., darker and rougher). This is normal and does not indicate non-conformity, provided the coating is continuous and adheres satisfactorily.
